this was a beautiful multi month AVWAP reclaim from the recent R/S daily.
It gapped up over the AVWAP after hrs and at the bell pulled back without a spike.
The area of interest I wanted to watch the price action and tape at was the AVWAP.
Step 1 - What I noticed when the price hit that area is that there was a high volume candle followed by a quick bounce.
Step 2 - Waited for a double bottom to enter ( I should take half size ) then add on the down trend break and reversal confirmation.
Notes: even though I was up 30% on my position I should take some off but then let a trend setup and trade stops based on a higher time frame. this will help me stay in winners longer.
