Random catalyst name. It did range for a while in the afternoon between 2.25-2.15, the volume dropped when we were consolidating at 2.16 I got short 17k shares avg 2.17 ish risking 2.2 give or take. I honestly think I should have cover some on the initial flush. the volume just dropped and there was just no directional flow... I covered the entire position later at 2.05 when we double bottomed. Nice little padder and pretty zzzz day in terms of opportunities.

I think that there was more to it: first off it was up like 70%. I would not take a trade like this if up less than 50% ish, not in this environment. Secondly, that lower high at 2.2 (13:08 pm) felt super control for the first time. 2-3 lower highs and then a tight consolidation at 2.15 (13:24 pm) is pretty bearish to me, and I knew that a lot of people would have hard stops at the bottom of the range, so yes I was expecting it to flush low of days, I was essentially targeting that liquidity flow from people stopping out at 2.07 ish.

Nice trade. So you just kinda took a stab to short it when the volume was very low and it was a the bottom of the day range? Did you expect it to dump to days low?
