Worst trade of the day. AMZN got quite some support, recently trading well. Traded opening range breakout and made some small money. Then when it broke down at 9:47am I got a long bias and tried to trade a bounce. I did add more at the bottom, but the position gets too big to be a bit uncomfortable. The stock keeps chopping around, going up and down. When I lost the patience and scale out with a loss, the stock bounced back to 111, that's why my last exit was 110.57.
What I did Right: Initial opening range break was alright.
What I did Wrong: When the opening range broke down, I tried to fish the bottom. Opening range once. Yesterday closing level once. Another swing low at 110.5 once. Bad idea.
Where I could improve: Losing trade it is always better to close out first and observe. Losing trade affects you so when it chopped around you lose patience. The loss is not big but hurts your confidence and affect your performance for the day.
Trade grade: Fail.
