This is a bad trade overall. Market was strong. Notice AMZN was among the strongest for the FANG. Saw AMZN in a period of consolidation. Accumulate starting from 115.67, buy more at 115.5, 115.4 and 115.3. On swing high, reduce my position at 115.6 115.7 and 115.8. Brought again at 115.4, but this swing low is even lower than previous bottom. So got nervous and got rid of 1/4 of position at 114.95 and 115.1 which hurt my confidence. Got rid of all my position at 115.6. Then missed the big rally to 117.
What I did Right: Consolidation pattern and accumulate. Trade on the strongest stock as well.
What I did Wrong: Since I got rid of 60% of my position at swing high. I was too eager to get back in 115.4. When it swing further down, I got nervous. This affected my remaining trades.
Where I could improve: Reduce position to control risk is ok. When things finally move in my direction I have to be patient.
