The Set-Up: Williams % R Strong V-Shape Trigger, Came Back Up Over 7-Day SMA Strongly in early AM.

What I did Right: Followed Trend Continuation Setup Rules to a T. Waited for the price to bounce back and across 7-Day SMA, entered at the right time.

What I did Wrong: It was a stock off of my main watch list, but highly suggested by another stock newsletter/service that I follow closely. I decided to take a risk on it as the setup looked very promising, and the stock trajectory meet all other parameters.

Bid-Ask Spread Not the Greatest, it was fine over the weekend but not when I looked Monday morning again. But the setup looked solid enough that I wanted to experiment anyway. Plus, the options were really cheap (only $275 a contract).

Where I could improve: Get a better bid-ask spread, stick to main watchlist rules as this trade could have gone poorly with the lower float and limited trading volume that it receives regularly.

Trade grade: A-

Big-picture: NYS Trading Sideways Today, Found this Trade Over the Weekend w/ StockNews.com tools. Waiting to see CSI news Wednesday. Was solid above-average buying volume on the day trade was opened.

Entry: Bought option while the price was about $9.50 @ 9:44 am EST August 8th, set Conditional Stop Order @ $9, NYS Moving Slightly Up When Trade Entered, Looking to Hit New 52-Week High, shooting for an exit at a minimum of $10.50 (former 52-Week High)

Trade Management: Looking for it to now stay above 7-Day SMA and resume it's 3-month upward trend momentum. Switched conditional stops at 9.50, 9.90, and 10.50 as the trade progressed

Exit: I Ended up manually exiting positions as the broad stock market started showing weakness, and the stock reached new 52-WK Highs/broke through $11 and was overbought to a certain extent. Wanted to take the profits off the table and see how broader markets play out in coming weeks.
