Rough day on BBBY, I was ready to full swing this name today based on the parabolic daily and price action intraday. I felt like this was the first time that we had a change in character past 10 AM, didn't expect a chop fest like a low floater.
I definitely think that there were signals indicating this was going to be a mess today and I did a poor job at being aware and adjusting my expectations.
The reclaim yesterday afternoon was a big structure reset and I think that I should have expected some chop or a squeeze in the morning.
Most of the lost came from that consolidation at 11:05, the first exec was a peanut loss with 100 shares ish, and then the 12:00 executions were emotional + FOMO.
A good raw momentum name should not do a reclaim like it did at 9:57 AM if it wants to find backside/ aggression IMO. That should have been my cut off point where I just take this thing off my damn screen and move on.
Regarding the afternoon fade with the filing I have no fucking clue if I need to include as a miss. I don't think it was a playbook trade for me, I think I might have overthink this scenario trying to understand the meaning of the news instead of shorting + asking question later. That was prob a scenario where even a positive news intraday would have crushed this thing to the ground.
