Hey dpaleo! I havent quite dabbled in small caps, but have been expanding the tickers I trade but also learning about small caps as well. When you talk about the last hour squeeze, I saw something similar on NERV last friday, Im thinking you mean that any shorts in the stock that accumulated from the mid day session and near the EOD session now start to cover as the stock failed to fade out, this usually happens during the last hour, and here as the shorts start to cover we can see the stock squeeze higher if it continues to hold and make higher highs and lows, but basically in a nut shell, stock fails to fade and shorts cover as they dont want to hold overnight and they cover near the close and stock squeezes as they cover or am I mistake? Thanks Dpaleo!

you are exactly right. And a lot of the time the last hr move up is started by the actor or actors that have been controlling the float. They manufacture the last hr move up which puts shorts in a bind and forces covers bc people dont want to hold overnight or risk an afterhrs squeeze. The people that control the float then use that squeeze as their exit.
