Multi day runner, I was short bias coming into the morning thinking too much too soon and high probability of fail follow through 19-20. I got caught off guard big time when we took 20 out like butter and went almost 21, I thought my thesis was invalidated so I never got back in at 20.5 or high 19 when we started to pullback. Not sure what went wrong in my morning plan, I think maybe should have been more diligent with the daily chart and the multi month breakout level at 19. That could have prevented me from shorting too early in the 18s... I think this is a scenario where I just don't make money, I could have certainly avoid or lose less had I been more proactive with covers above 19 when it started ripping. Kept the loss under control, -0.5R and will do a better job next time.
