Trade Analysis

Technicals: When I looked at the 60 minutes charts this morning, I immediately saw the potential move to 88 and shared it on the discord.(See Chart below)
When looking at the chart on the 2K and 1K, I my red line aligned with 38.2% Fib retracement and discussed an entry long at that level at 08 am. Sadly missed the move and very quickly got to the 50% retraceent. I entered Long 1 at 86.15 maybe a pbit prematurely as the pull back was still in formation. I bought a second long 3 ticks in the green and placed my first target at 30 ticks and my second target at the yellow line

Error#1. Should have traded with 3 contracts given my level of conviction and the market sentiment.
My first target was reached and we were approaching the 76.4% retracement when I moved my stop inside the trade to 61.8% retracement. Error #2. Moved my stop inside the trade

Outcome: Win, 1st target reached $280 and got stopped as I had moved my stop inside the trade. my stop was reached and there was a couple more ticks before the move retraced and hit my intended target, thus leaving $1,250 on the table for the sake of a couple of ticks because i wanted to "protect my trade", "Trade risk-free" as I was in the shower. see chart below taken on a simulator after I got stopped out. Error #3. trading on a simulator. I need to qui trading on the simulator because this is where I end up taking all of my successful trades, like this one.

Post mortem: Valuable lessons are to be learnt from that trade. 1/Do not move the stop inside the trade. 2/add more powder when your conviction is high, 3/do not trade the sim.
