MRNA very strong in pre-market on 12 Oct. Keep making new highs on news of MERCK cancer vaccine collaboration. Brought MRNA for quick scalp before market open. On opening there was some sell down as the pre-market run up was over +12%. However, the stock held quite well in the first three minutes. I did one more scalp on breakout. On first pull back I brought again for a quick scalp. After the stock dropping below 9 EMA I stopped my trading.
What I did Right: Identify the easy trade for the day.
What I did Wrong: Entry level is a bit less than desirable. 100 stocks I brought at 136.046 suffered the initial down swing, so got out quickly at 136.72, so missed the eventual move to 139.
Where I could improve: Better exit. Scale out.
Trade grade: B. Not bad for a 30 minutes trade.
