JNUG Trade on Jul 11, 2016 09:45 from MAllum_BOWS: Tradervue User Stock Trades.

Nice daily chart- Few big days up previously and opened near the top of the range. Got a really good entry at $290.11 just above all the MA's. Took a small position because it was an expensive stock, moving a lot so it was easy to hit my max loss because my stop had to be $2 away. So max I could have taken 100 shares.
Had a LOT of trouble trying to get out and take my profits. I was up $4 when JNUG went up to the 200MA and I tried to take profits but TOS kept rejecting my sale telling me that I had to request shorts for JNUG. I don't know why it wasn't letting me sell the shares I had already bought. Panicked a little and just moved my stop up to try to get out and that finally worked. Not cool. I happy with my trading process on this trade but this burnt some mental capital.
I was a little fearful because the stock was in a range, moving $4 every minute or so, so I was a little uncomfortable because I didn't do an exact calculation of my Risk to know that was actually below my max. no. of shares. I didn't specifically think of reward to risk before the trade though I figured it would go up. I also am tired this morning.
Because it was such an expensive stock, I got distracted and wanted to take the $4 gain quickly. Didn't concentrate on the bigger picture perspective. i.e. the $10 move, but the TOS problem had me to nervous anyway. Will keep this in perspective for when Im trading other $200+ stocks, to be mindful that they can Move and to allow them to and let my trades run.
