Yea def need to be cognizant of what mkt is doing, esp if there is no day 1 catalyst. Consolidations def help. This had a really strong consolidation in the face of a rather sharp mkt sell. The 1min engulf at 11:09 was enough of a signal for me to get long.

Beautiful trade! TSLA is the only name I trade. Do you typically wait for some consolidation at VWAP as opposed to getting long on the first 2 or 5 min green candle that holds? I wanted to get long on the VWAP hold, but with the market selling off at the same time it was hard for me to have any conviction
