**What was the result of the trade, what happened? Loss. I took the trade when the price action broke the premarket low and opening range low. The price action made a new HOD and reversed. I exited the trade when the price action hit my hard stop.

*FEELINGS- Describe what you thought and felt during the trade? I wasn't too confident with opportunities since it was the last trading session before the Christmas break.

*EVALUATION- What was good or bad about the trade (what worked according to plan in the trade)? Good: Price action broke the premarket and opening range low. Bad: Price action made a new LOD and reversed. There was a strong hammer signal with volume when price action reversed where I could have exited this trade earlier. I allowed price action to go past the technical stop.

*ANALYSIS- Does the trade make sense to you now that it is over? Yes, it does.

*CONCLUSION- What is the final judgment of the trade (draw conclusions)? The setup was present, but the trade didn't work.

Start paying more attention to the candle patterns especially those candles that signal strong reversal. such as, a hammer candle.
