**What was the result of the trade, what happened? $SPY was gapping down. Price action broke the opening range low and I entered a trade with 25 trades at 150.7 with my first target at 149. Price action broke through the daily 100SMA but then made a new HOD of day and reversed. I took a partial at 149.67 and moved my stop to breakeven. I exited my position at 150.79 when price action broke VWAP. Price action was pretty volatile and choppy, so it was difficult to trade $NVDA today.

*FEELINGS- Describe what you thought and felt during the trade? Rest and ready.

*EVALUATION- What was good or bad about the trade (what worked according to plan in the trade)? Good: Price action broke the opening range low. Bad: The daily 100SMA was in the way of profit targets. Price action formed a new HOD and reversed. Candles bodies were very wicky throughout the day. I gave the trade only a $1 stop, but the 5-minute ATR was 1.311 and I should have given the trade more room to work.

*ANALYSIS- Does the trade make sense to you now that it is over? Yes, it does.

*CONCLUSION- What is the final judgment of the trade (draw conclusions)? I took the setup when it presented, but it was difficult to trade $NVDA due to the volatility and choppiness of the price action so I decided not to trade it again for the rest of the trading session. I was also preparing breakfast for my family to celebrate my daughter's 30th birthday so I was somewhat distracted with that.

*ACTION PLAN- How are you going to avoid the mistakes you made on this trade? How are you going to make sure you get the same results the next time if the trade was good? Continue to take the setup when presented and practice excellent risk management. Do a better job of calculating stop distance based on the 5-minute ATR. Note any support or resistance in the way of profit targets before the opening bell.
