As discussed in my recent
My initial risk was about 25 cents. But probably closer to .50 with chance of A/H slippage, so it was closer to $250 rather than $125.
No, I got into a full position right away.
I wanted to make sure I didn't add as much on my second entry because I didn't want to lower my average price by too much.
To be honest this entire trade was a "chase" not in terms of the set up. But I reached a mental Daily stop limit for the day which means I'm not suppose to take any more trades. But I just felt like this was my pitch and I was totally ready for it. I know in the long run this trade won't help me build any discipline at all.
Overall I probably shouldn't have taken this trade just because discipline should have been my number one concern rather than profit. However, I am batting 1.000 on this A/H set up so far so I felt like this was the pitch I should have been waiting for all day.
Ok - spoke too soon. Another pitch came right down the middle so I took it. Bought a break of the down slope with the first fib retracement as my target.
