• Did I follow my risk guidelines?

After discussing this trader further with my mentor, I didn't follow any risk guidelines. He asked me what was my target before entering the trade. I could not answer, all I said was I wanted to be long because it looks strong on the daily. His response was how can you justify your R v R if you have only half the equation? Very good point indeed.

• Did I correctly use a feeler?

Yes, I got in small initially before the pattern really started and was able to add size on the break and the pull back following the break.

• Was I in the correct amount of size?

This is tough to answer since I can't say yes I was sized correctly if I don't know the R v R.

• How many times did I chase the trade?

I did not chase the trade. In fact, I didn't do anything with this trade. I failed on my executions but I thought I had great entries.

I should have crushed this trade. Perhaps my early morning loss in a swing caused me to get off my game. Check my blog post for further details on this trade and the opportunity cost I lost out on had I traded this like every other time I take a trade like this.
