**What was the result of the trade, what happened? Loss. The market was gapping up in a parabolic fashion during Fed Chairman Powell's speech. I entered a trade at 154.65 with 50 shares when the price action gapped up with strong volume. I set targets at 155.00, 155.50. I had a daily pivot at 157.50. Price action hit 155.23 but I was holding for 155.50. Price action made a new HOD then reversed eventually stopping me out. I felt I entered late during the parabolic move price action was making.

*EVALUATION- What was good or bad about the trade (what worked according to plan in the trade)? Good: Price action broke HOD with confirmation. Bad: The market reversed towards the end of Fed Chairman Powell's speech.

*CONCLUSION- What is the final judgment of the trade (draw conclusions)? I broke my rule of not trading when Fed Chairman Powell is speaking.

Stay away from entering a position during Fed Chairman's Powells speech. Do not enter a trade when the stock has already made a parabolic move.
