NVDA Trade on Feb 27, 2023 10:09 from JRockTrades: Tradervue User Stock Trades.

At the time of the trade, NVDA was weaker than the market. Every time it wicked over 238 it quickly came back in. The market was definitely stronger than NVDA and was making new highs, but it seemed much more wary than in recent days when every breakout was bought strongly. I took a chance and shorted against the 238 level with maybe 50 cents worth of risk.

The market couldn't hold up and eventually came back in and this trade started to work. I took off my risk quite quickly. The trade really started working and I took of successively smaller numbers of shares every ten or twenty cents as price moved in my favor. I was really looking at what would happen around the 236.50 area, which was the LOD. That got taken out and price moved lower. It went as low as 234.50 area before retracing the 236. I still had a small position left and I was watching as it came back to 234.50 area and was able to cover a couple shares down there. I quicky move back over 235 and I used that as my cue to fully close my remaining shares around 235.40.

Overall this was a really good trade. I got more than I expected in a move in my direction. Definitely a little risky with the market making new highs at the time of my entry, but my intuition was right on this one.
