**What was the result of the trade, what happened? This was a profitable trade. The market was gapping down at the time of entry. I took an LODB trade at 274.01 with 50 shares when the price action broke the LOD with average volume. The price action broke the LRC in a downward fashion and broke the Bollinger Bands in a downward fashion. I set the loss of the ORL and later, the 9EMA with confirmation as my technical stop and a 1.50 hard stop based on the ATR of the 5-minute candle prior to entry. I had daily pivots at 272.38 and 267.45. I set my profit targets at 271.00, 270.50, and 267.00. The price action continued to move downwards with the market, and I took a 2/3 partial at 271.59 then set my stop to breakeven. The price action broke the 9EMA with confirmation, but I decided to allow the price action to test VWAP with it broke with confirmation before I exited my position.

*FEELINGS- Describe what you thought and felt during the trade? Tired since I did not sleep well.

*EVALUATION- What was good or bad about the trade (what worked according to plan in the trade)? Good: The price action broke the LOD. Bad: I execute the trade without confirmation. The price action broke my technical level with confirmation, but I allowed the trade to continue. I made a technical error by adding shares when I meant to scale out my remaining shares.

*ANALYSIS- Does the trade make sense to you now that it is over? Yes.

*CONCLUSION- What is the final judgment of the trade (draw conclusions)? I executed a good setup but did not follow some of my trade rules. The price made a new low with above average volume then formed reversal patterns which sent signals where I could have taken profit before allowing the price action to test the 9EMA.

*ACTION PLAN- How are you going to avoid the mistakes you made on this trade? How are you going to make sure you get the same results the next time if the trade was good? I will respect technical stops that I enter in a trade.
