*What was the result of the trade, what happened? This was a profitable trade. The market was gapping up at the time of entry. I took an ORBU trade at 265.47 with 75 shares when the price action broke the ORH with above average volume and strong momentum. The LRC was at 271.13 and the Bollinger Bands was at 265.64. I set the loss of the ORH with confirmation as my technical stop and a 1.50 hard stop based on the ATR of the 5-minute candle prior to entry. I had a daily pivot at 275.88. I set profit targets at 266.00 and 267.00. The price action gapped up strong and I took my first 2/3 partial at 266.00 then set my stop to breakeven. I took another 1/2 partial at 267, added 50 shares and set my stop to breakeven. I was eventually stopped out at breakeven.

*FEELINGS- Describe what you thought and felt during the trade? Feeling fine and ready for the trading session.

*EVALUATION- What was good or bad about the trade (what worked according to plan in the trade)? Good: The market was gapping up, and the price action broke the ORH with strong volume and momentum. Bad: After my second partial I added shares and moved my stop to breakeven which stopped me out quickly instead of waiting for a pullback.

*ANALYSIS- Does the trade make sense to you now that it is over? Yes.

*CONCLUSION- What is the final judgment of the trade (draw conclusions)? It was a great trade with better potential for profit taking if I would have waited for the pull back to add shares and just allowed the rest of my position to continue upwards.

*ACTION PLAN- How are you going to avoid the mistakes you made on this trade? How are you going to make sure you get the same results the next time if the trade was good? I will wait for a good pull back during a trade to add shares so that I don't get stopped out to quickly when I set my stop to breakeven.
