*What was the result of the trade, what happened? This was a failed trade. $MU reported earnings miss after hours. I took an after hours trade at 58.73 with 50 shares after $MU announced earnings miss and the price action broke the 5-minute low of the announcement candle. I had a daily pivot at 57.24. I set profit targets at 1.00 above Avgcost. The price action quickly gapped down then reversed. I exited my position when the price action broke above the premarket high.

*FEELINGS- Describe what you thought and felt during the trade? Frustrated with my poor execution.

*EVALUATION- What was good or bad about the trade (what worked according to plan in the trade)? Good: Not much. Bad: I was revenge trading due to my trading error on my last trade.

*ANALYSIS- Does the trade make sense to you now that it is over? No.

*CONCLUSION- What is the final judgment of the trade (draw conclusions)? I should have stopped trading after I made the trading error on the previous trade to end the trading day and reset.

*ACTION PLAN- How are you going to avoid the mistakes you made on this trade? How are you going to make sure you get the same results the next time if the trade was good? I will not continue to trade after hours if I commit a trading error.
