🧩Situation🧩 Market opened flat and stale after the large buying last Friday. The call wall moved higher to 4180, which can be taken as a bullish sign. While the market was pushing up, I saw that the market internals were weak.

• XLK, XLY, SMH, ARKK were all red for the day and should have been leading the run-up if it was a risk-off tone today. - Rates were also fairly flat before beginning to sell.
• As the market pushed up, volatility continued to be compressed but was at the 15min lower bolly. I wanted to see vol mean revert.
• The tick index held zero bound all morning I wanted to see the tick break center line.
• 4157 was a key gamma level in the market I wanted to see price reject this area since market internals were weak and this would be an area for mean version as vol compressed.

💭Self-Talk💭 I took a stop earlier trying the exact set up at 4142 the previous week's high. Price continued to push to 4157 into 10am.

As price approached the gamma level I got short with 3 points of slippage.

I wanted to add into weakness and take the trade back to 4142 previous week hi. I started taking profit into 4147 because the tick kept holding 0 all morning

I sold into 42 / and the 30's down to 4131 gamma level.

I left a runner that was trail stopped out as the market mean reverted higher in the back half of the day.

⚙️What could I improve?⚙️ This trade was executed well but I need to be patient and wait for this trade and jumped an entry at prev week high a little earlier in the morning.
