TSLA Trade on Apr 20, 2023 09:35 from Dandres: Tradervue User Stock Trades.

PREMARKET
- The market at the time wasn't too active but there were some potential candidates that I was currently watching.
- Gaping down pre-market with catalyst news, float: 2700 Mil, ATR: $7.92, Vol: 7.3 (very active). Price: In the $165 Range.
- The stock was ETB so it was able to if I wanted to trade the stock long or short.
- Premarket if thens...
- LONG : If the stock claims the VWAP (currently trading under) then get in on confirmation after 5-10 OR dies. Entry: As close to the VWAP as possible, Stop loss: Premarket low of $164, Target: Pre-market high of $171.43 (as close to it as possible or levels up and above). 2.5:1 R:R.
- SHORT : If the stock is moving up to VWAP and shows strength to the downside then, possible short. Entry: VWAP = 166.50, Stop Loss: 200 EMA = 167.20, Target: Pre-market low = 164.08 low. 3.4:1 R:R

OPEN
- Watched the action at the open and saw strength in volume and price action to the upside, higher highs on the 1 min and 5 min confirmed for entry to the upside and so I jumped in. Added close to my initial share size at the start 20,20,20.
- I partial 1R then again at higher high and held small size on the highs, I saw the reversal red candle and volume, I stopped myself out before I broke even (all out).

REFLECTION
- I think this trade went well, not because I made money on it but because I followed my trade plan and rules. I did the pre-market research, calculated my max share size and planned my if then and even scaled in and out on the trade.
- I also followed my stop loss and actively managed it as I was taking partials on the way up.
- One thing I should have tried to do better was to analyze the time and sale + Lvl2 during the trade, it could have been a solid indicator and additional confirmation on the trade that I was taking.
