I just got stopped out of a loser trade and originally saw an entry here when it based under the S1 pivot, VWAP above @ $12.85. Classic setup for me and it flushed to the S2 pivot @ $12.72.
I was free to enter this trade after it fell under S2 and got filled at $12.67. Took a lot of mental battling not to cover every bounce but after reviewing yesterday's trade, I learned to be willing to take the full b/e (not cover the early bounce and take small profits) in exchange for potential to hit the next pivot, S3 $12.37.
I put a limit buy to cover to be more disciplined than my first trade, which I failed discipline 3 times. My true strategy would be to see how price acts as it gets to $12.37 then cover manually. It never broke over the 9ema on the way down and ultimately got to S4 area $12.04. Potential for a greater move but I'm far enough in my mental game that the missed opportunity does not phase me one bit. I just see the lessons that had I not been PnL focused, I could have given myself the chance to manage the downside move vs using a limit buy. It was still a cover at major resistance so that's a solid trade.
