TSLA Trade on Apr 28, 2023 09:55 from Dandres: Tradervue User Stock Trades.

PREMARKET
- Not on the scanner list but it was showing great trading patterns in the pre-market. The previous day trading levels looked good too.
- ATR: 8.20, M.C., ETB.
- No catalyst but trading well.
- Max share size was 60 (15/32/12).
- Plan was to watch it because premarket it was trading above VWAP but extended. To the move upside, had to claim the VWAP with 5 min candle confirmations.
- To the move downside same thing, targets at half, whole and study levels.
OPEN
- During open I was waiting out the OR until I saw a pattern, it started with a drop on the market open below VWAP, and slowly climbed up to the VWAP on good volume, around 9:55 it showed me candle confirmation to the break of VWAP. I scaled in and added on higher and higher 1 min candles, close to my entry.
- The trade resolved itself and I was moving my stops tighter as it move up. Target was 2R of 50% partial. Partial out at 2R and my trade book says to sell 25% more on the next target but for SOME reason, just got hasty I guess, I all outed super early even though the trade was in my favor. It ended up moving 4$ higher, LOL. Scary money doesn't make money !
REFLECTION
- Really good discipling for waiting on the confirmation on the move. Good movement of the stop loss to keep my earnings tight.
- Opportunity --> Hold onto your winners! And follow your trade book! 50% @ 2R, 25% at @2.5R, 25% and higher target!
- Good work on not having any specific bias, just follow the patterns and trade the technical indicators, leave out the bias.
