Premarket
- AMD not on premarket scanner but it has been RUNNING lately. Yesterday's move looked super delicious.
- ATR: $4.20 (blaze it), MC, ETB.
- Plans was to watch for the moves around $95 because it has been a strong daily and intraday level the last couple days.
OPEN
- Around 10 min this was looking GTFI. The 5 min chart was showing me higher highs/lows while close to the VWAP. I got in the pull backs.
Trade 1: Was watching this carefully and was seeing upside support on 1 min candle moves with simultaneous 5 min candle chart support. I added on the pull back to the VWAP, BIG respect and added on 1 min bull candles following each higher highs/lows. R:R was great. First partial at 1R and the remaining I got out on downward trend. The price went much higher...
Reflection
- You had reason to get out to protect your gains. I think sometimes you have to be aggressive, especially in the mornings. Aggressive in the mornings and less aggressive and more protective later into the trading day.
- The good: Great reason for entry, great R:R ratio, great scaling on confirmations.
- Let your winners win. You can take slightly more risk on positions and holding when you are already winning... it could pay off.
