BABA Trade on May 12, 2023 09:42 from Dandres: Tradervue User Stock Trades.

Premarket
- BABA on the premarket gap up scanner, cant remember if there was any news but just recall that the charts on the premarket looked nice.
- ETB, MC, ATR: $12.77!, Max shares of 100 @ 1$ risk or .50c risk.
- Plan was just to watch the claim to either side.
Open
- Opened very weak to the downside on the 5 min chart even after the OR.
Trade 1: Took first entry short to the downside, candles showing reversal action soon afterward, very obvious that I could have gotten out way in advance before I got stopped myself out early. The trade was supporting the VWAP break to the upside so I flipped sides. BUT this was a mistake because the volume to the upside was much smaller compared to the downside candles.
Reflection
- Good initial entry and not adding on the bullish candles to the upside, this wasn't a small pull back it was clearly showing reversal intentions on both charts. You played it safe.
- Stopped yourself out early on both chart confirmations, so it was reasonable.
- Opportunity for improvement, you need to start watching the volume bars, this could have shown you that it was not supporting the upside the way you thought it was.
