there was a negative catalyst on FUTU. It was a big gap down so def not looking to short in the hole (for any stock really). But this did bounce a full point in 1st 15mins and then failed new highs

In your experience, if a stock gaps down on the open, is this not increasing the odds of a rebound?
(Unless there was a negative catalyst on $FUTU)
Do you have any rules prior shorting stock that gapped down on the open or you just take the trade regardless once your criterias are met ?
