OK so first off, I enrered this log info incorrectly. the reality is that this was a long play, meaning that the $ 82.00 profit, was actually a loss. So Anyway, I have really spent the better part of the past year, working on my short plays. I was seeming to find a grove and then as of the last 3 months, it seems to be gone. So yesterday, at the end of the day, I decided to go long. This was stupid for a couple of reasons. 1) I did not see any kind of set up that I had been taught, and or ever focused on practicing before. 2) I. So far anyway have never set out to be in stocks over night. I know that I have been doing so as of late, but that is not because those were my plains getting into the stocks. So anyway onto the Long play that I entered, with the intent of holding it over night on purpose for the first time. So GNVC blasts up yesterday, like a bunch of other stocks, it has a big pull back, and than slowly kind of grinds back up the rest of the day. I notice that at around 2:30 the stock breaks back below the VWAP and the 9 ema, but yet it runs into the 50sma and now grinds back up and over all 3, So though I really have not focused on any type of end of day plays, I decided that I was going to enter into a long position over night, looking for a morning gap up. Well I got the gap alright, only it was in the other direction. and so I was stopped out.
