This is the first good trade I have made in a while. I am trying to stick to the same style pattern that I have been looking for in short plays, only I am now looking for them in long plays. With my short plays for the past few months I feel like I had the right idea and grasp on the set up, however there just never seemed to be any momentum behind the plays. Meanwhile I would be seeing everyone on twitter making play after play to the long side and some of them would have multiple enteries on just one stock. that is how much their stocks of choice were moving mean while my stock would just sit there. So I know that I need to make sure that I am extra careful not to blindly follow other traders, however I did start to watch today what stocks people were talking about and what stocks seemed to be moving. Wouldn't you know it, today most of them were shorting stocks. So I started watching those plays and I could see the same pattrens that I would have been looking for to play short myself, however there were no shorts for me to borrow. UGGGG Back to the drawing board. So as of today, I do not want to say that I will Only go long, because I know if I ever want to be successful that I will have to be able to make plays going in either direction, however, I don't think that there are any situations where you can not long barring that you just don't have the funds. SOoooo anyway, URRE I saw on the daily that this was only day 2 of a big move so I started to watch the 5 min chart and sure enough I saw a play that Kunal taught to use in BC called the 9ema pullback. I waited for a candle to hold and entered into a long position. at 2.98 cents. I was in this stock for about 50 minutes as it rode up the 9 ema. and as gave a kind of spike pulling away from the 9 ema looking to potentially reach for the 4.00s I sold my position at 3.70 Finally I made a good trade. May that be the first of many more good decisions. they do not all have to be good. but may I make more good than bad for a while would be helpful on my mental confidence.
