Nothing attention grabbing moving in premarket
- One of those stocks you watch on quiet days.

Open
- AMD had been making new highs all day and at this point it was respecting 9 ema and bouncing off the 20 ema. My first initial entry was the anticipation of the break of the 20 ema as it had been making noticeable dojis at the previous highs and close on a 5 min reversal candle that showed intention to move back to the VWAP.
Trade 1: Took the first entry size and stop myself out on the developing 1 min candles back to the upside and new closing 5 min candle that DIDNT break the 20 ema. With the way trade trending works, if the stock keeps moving up you cant rely on it making a decent move back to break even so I took the small loss on it.
Trade 2: 1 min candles moved back down to that 20 ema really teasing the break of the 20 to the VWAP. I took firs entry ad the stock fucked me with the slippage, I didn't get filled for another like 5 seconds after I sent my order, I had no intention of scaling in on that again because who knew how far down a strong stock would move back down. Got out close to break even on the second trade.

Reflection
- Really good indicators and reason to get in, the trade did go the way you thought it would.
- Probably best to take the stop loss hit on a trade that really has good support for your idea, dont stop yourself out on good trade ideas with supporting indicators. Its probably worth holding onto even if it slightly moves against you. Take the controlled risk on that and add on the confirmation of the break of your preferred direction, otherwise the only thing you risk is you first entry.
- Fuck that slippage lol
