Thoughts/Thesis/Notes during the trade:
NQ Pre - very extended on the daily.
Watched 5 minute chart with 3 big green candles, 3rd formed a tail, tried to continue then formed a tail to close, that was my entry.

Accidentally went short 2 contracts instead of 1. Stop HOD once candle closed.

Target 14400 with remaining contract - Stop HOD. Will keep an eye on QQQ 8EMA and see how the gap resolves.
Can add with additional setups. If able to build enough profit and hold more contracts, Hold 1 for target 14k.

I thought I had good adds on some upticks.
Ended up breaking out and capitulating a bit, but gave me a bad average since I added too soon. I did not think it would break first high.

First target on add was 14460.
Adding too big makes it really easy to get stopped at max loss and not a proper position.

UVXY not breaking up at all.

Big whips and moves, definitely seems like a battle going on.

If I wouldn't have added, this could've been an easily managed trade. It didn't even tick my original entry. It is hard to watch a big gain go all the way back to zero. That definitely affected me. Plan today was to take a break if things went on tilt. It's time.

Scaled out of the adds fairly quick and got my original target.

Tried several more trades.

Final trade, got nice flush and was bought all the way back up while I was at the gym. Target was 14200.
This put me in somewhat of a revenge mode and I started adding trying to get back the open P&L.
It worked, but again the adds aren't conducive.

Futures might be more about scalping for now. Hard to get a solid trend.

5.31 - NQ swing,
Moved stop w/ hourly trail; but that moves my stop to an after hours level
Moved target to 250, then back down to 200.
I'm struggling since it has been very bullish, and the other indices aren't extended. This techinically could still use more correction, but without a collective pullback, might be tough to hit that target.

Stop very close using after hours level. Just barely @ 8EMA for QQQ

Ticked stop and reversed. Very tempting to re-enter

I re-entered with erratic action, similar to capitulation. Upside tail forming, RTY breaking lows, ES near lows. UVXY starting to pop

Now RTY a bit extended to the downside and NQ not giviing much up. Nearly hit first target at 380 for 1/3 then it popped again.

Added more w/ double top on 1 minute and same bouncy erratic action. RTY failing bounce, need UVXY to confirm.

Got two covered. Very hard to work the near target/give back stop rule with the whippy action. QQQ pulled back to VWAP, on top of, can't hope for much more w/o UVXY confirmation. Stop HOD, pivot in.

ES and RTY look terrible, NQ holdingin great,

Covered some at 375 when it ticked back down, that seemed to be an inflection area and I wanted to take some off the table. It looked like it was holding up well and potentially going to bounce. Lol, was wrong, continued down, didnt give u pmuch by taking some off there.

Covered last into extension into 14300.
Tempting to flip.
Not sure how much edge there is left on the daily short, still above 8ema, but only by 150
