I scaled in and out too much. It was a winning trade at first when I anticipated a washout. They scaling in/out messed up my average price.
Lesson learnt here was to have a starter position and add more when trade starts working. Be patient and let the whole trade pan out, instead of scaling in and out when I don't need to.
