One of those stocks you watch
Open
Trade 1: Was looking like a reversal trade from the highs. Took an initial entry and it went against me. Once it moved back half of the move I manually got out.
Trade 2: Another reversal trade on the break of the consolidation level. Reversed immediately, except that this time I did not get out at once it went past half of the consolidation level. Got stopped out.
Trade 3: Reversal traded that was retesting that consolidation range and actually broke it. Took my partials/base hits and got out.
Reflection
- Decent risk management with not scaling without confirmation.
- The second trade I could have managed better with following my rule of getting out when the stock retakes 50% of a move.
- Sound reasoning and good confirmation on all these trades. Shit happens but we can manage our risk.
- Nice at scaling in for the 3rd trade.
