Daily B/O gap and go. Intra B/O over daily highs. Patiently waited for P/B to rising 9MA. Once bounced, took long with stop under higher lows and rising 9MA. Stopped for loss.

nothing u can do on this sometimes they dont work ..i would say the one thing we bouth coudl have done is gotten this one lower closer to the 9ema..i chased it a tad at 6.95 it wanst the best entry which is why it didnt go right away.

Thank you, this feedback helps immensely. I did actually buy it right off the bounce of the 9MA so felt my entry was at a high probability bounce zone but wasn't sure if my thinking was right (or my stop for that matter). Good to know for positive reinforcement that it was a good play, just one of the ones that didn't work.

and yet the bounce off the 9ema was below the vwap ... wasn't that a riskier entry? why did you stop watching it?

I don't think it was a risky entry, but i could be wrong. Also in hindsight i now see if 9MA is lost as a closing 5 min candle, next bounce place to look is rising 20MA as this bounced perfectly off that area.
I stopped watching as by 8:10 PST i have to get ready and get to work, that darn day job (which pays the bills) keeps getting in the way of my trading (which depletes my savings), lol. I'm looking to reverse that.

The day job thing can stink sometimes. Don't get a good chance to see if a play that failed earlier gets a chance to develop again. In this case, the later day breakout around 7.10
