QQQ was pushing up near the $380 mark where Don talked about shorting it. I decided to take a mean reversion trade. I did double check the Bollinger bands on this one, and it was overextended on the 4h.
7/14/23 after the Q's pushed up hard and smacked the type 2 and rejected hard, I decided to close in my stop and scale in. I'm keeping the original risk (it's $26.68 instead of the original risk of $26.56, for anyone who's keeping track).
And here's the Q's chart to help keep track of my reasoning:
Pulled up my risk to keep it small, since I didn't trust things. I basically put my stop below hourly structure. Really, I should have moved my stop to break even before the day started, but I don't really trust Monday mornings. There was a point today when I was up $6 or so on the trade.
