With an add like this one I made it was bc stock broke below vwap. I'll typically place a stop for just the add where the add reasoning gets nullified. In this case I'm not even sure if i had put in a stop yet or I just covered the add at mkt bc I was immediately wrong.
But typically with adds its a separate stop. After a decent amount of time has elapsed I may move the entire stop to the new on

Hey Dpaleo, hope all is well, I was wondering when you add into your position, I can see that you on your first 1k shares - the stop was at high of day - when you added 500 more shares, the stop for the add was not at high of the day and was instead 22.98 - I'm sure it varies but how often do you add to your position and then either #1. Have a different stop loss for that add or #2. how often are you adding and then moving the stop for the whole position lower? ----------------> Hope that makes sense, if not I can try to word it a bit differently, thanks dpaleo.
