NIO Trade on Aug 7, 2023 11:02 from fallofshadows: Tradervue User Stock Trades.

Need to do an in-depth review of this trade. This one should have been an easy trade, easy profits, nice and chill. Instead I've been in and out twice over the course of a week.

After failing to get into NIO short using a spread, I ended up shorting shares. Overextended on the weekly charts, last week was an indecisive candle in the zone. I shorted with a stop above last week's peak, risking 2%.

8/8 NIO gapped down in the morning, which made it too tempting not to trail. Moved my stop to break even, but then tightened it up so I could take profits and get back in later.

I have an alert set to get back in if we keep coming down.
