I set an alert on TOS for when OWW broke resistance. I wanted to take a quick trade, but I bought literally one minute too late, getting stooped out at my hard stop at 12.75.

I entered again when it touched the 9 ema and scaled out on the way to 12.81.

I got greedy and stupid on the last trade. There was no setup, it was below most MAs, and it was on its last leg after a long run. I was hoping 12.69 would hold until the end of the day so I can swing it because I had a feeling OWW would gap up. Got stopped because I set my hard stop at 12.65.

I was really hoping to hang on to it overnight in speculation that i will gap up (it looks like it's up to 12.78 after-market), but OWW went below MAs in the last few minutes. Any suggestions on how I could've entered?

Stock had already ran up a lot from the open. It was out of juice. That flag around 10:30am is where you should have hit it.

Are you able to see it real time Nape? Seems so easy hindsight but live the chart looks so different.

@mark yeah I was watching this stock all day. You notice how the candles are getting smaller and tighter on the flag around 10:30/11:00am. That was your signal right there that the stock was about to do something; but you are right in hindsight it is easier to say you should have got in here and there. That's is why we have to train our eyes to constantly see these setup so when are trading live we know what to do without even giving it much thought.
