Daily: none, playing market reaction after Fed news
Intraday: VWAP breakout
The SPY (and QQQ, IWM) started looking like they were gonna fade after the news. I already had a small position shorting QQQ but I wanted to take an entry to UVXY because I started feeling more confident about the direction of the market.
I entered on the breakout above VWAP, scaled out 1/3 at HOD.
I added those shares back on new HOD and doubled up on the break higher as price action in all the indices confirmed the sell-off.
I didn't scale out because there was nothing that suggested the sell-off in the indices had stopped.
