Improvements:

1. This was a loss of vwap and opening range break down trade.
2. The stock had opened with a small gap-up from the prior day's close.
3. The stock consolidated sideways for the first 10-mins of the session.
4. Stock tested the opening price before a small bounced.
5. The EMAs on all timeframes had started to curl over the price action.
6. The anchored vwap from the prior day's closing range high was now over the top of the price action.
7. The candles on the 1-min chart started to compress and had been trading an inside bar from the prior red down candle.
8. This triggered a short trade for me and I entered with the loss of the 179.50-level.
9. I had set the stop fairly conservatively and placed it above the two candles sitting on the vwap at around 179.85-level.
10. Stock immediately started to flush to the downside and it took the market with it.
11. My price target was the 178-level as an area of identified support.
12. I showed really good discipline in holding the trade through the pull-in off the 178.50-level.
13. I watched the tap through the pull-in and could see sellers were still hitting the bids and the bids had difficulty pushing it higher.
14. The other tell was the green candles started to compress and were starting to overlap.
15. Once the stock had rolled over I moved the trailing stop down and placed it above the lower-high.
16. As the stock flushed I move the stock in behind the price action using the 1-min candles.

Notes:

• Very good analysis for the trade thesis, trade setup and stalking the entry.
• Showed much better discipline (I feel this is an area I am improving greatly on) is holding the stock through the pull-ins for the bigger moves down.
• Good tape reading to make sure the stock hadn't full "reversed" and was only pulling in.
