This stock was gapping up and there was no resistance anywhere near it so I was looking for a long setup. I got long the first 5 min candle to make a new high on the pullback, but I made the mistake of getting in too big and risking too much. I had to quickly sell part of my position which could have resulted in a loss. I was watching this on the 1 min chart and it started to consolidate near $29.00. It popped over and then sold off so I started taking profit and I got out for a small win.
On the second setup, the one I shoulda coulda woulda went bigger in was a really nice clean bull flag that appeared on the 5 min. After it popped, I got in with small size and volume really started to pick up. I scaled out into strength because this moved really quickly.
