8:23 Tried a short under a large order block, but it got taken out and broken on low volume. I tried to give it a chance as at first it was just like 150 contracts, but we ended up holding and breaking. I was expecting a pullback to the low volume area, so I waited for it but I never got it. This is a good example of how I cant just be slow on the trade.
I can only allow myself to give the trade time to work if it breaks quickly on low volume and instantly refreshed. If it breaks on low volume but doesn't refresh, then I have to get out.
Im not upset at this is a great learning example. This is a huge loss as I ended up holding it even more as I wrote this journal. Currently >6 points against me. Once again, not upset at myself, this is just a learning opportunity.
Close it for like an 8 point loss... That would hurt real bad live.
Definitely need to review the video and engrain how the low volume breakouts work and how they don't work.

Post: Good entry, could have worked. I was really slow to get out. It broke e on low volume so I tried to give it some time, but it kept moving up on low volume so froze. It gave a chance to exit on the pullback at 4327.5 at 8:23:02, but my order wasnt set and I missed it. This is a great example that the low volume breaks are only worth trying to hold if the level instantly refreshes. In this example, the level was never refreshed but I kept holding and hoping.
