I over traded this stock a lot today. My first trade was for a break over the HOD on the 1 min chart. When I got in and added near the break, this came back down and I got out because I didn't think it was going to go. Then it consolidated and started to bounce and finally broke so I got in again which made up the loss and put me green barely on the day.

The mistake I made on this was that I saw the stock was consolidating again after it broke and I got long again because I considered it a bull flag. It didn't move sideways nearly as long as it needed to and it didn't pullback far enough to be considered a trade. The 5 min chart was not corresponding either with the 1 min setup. So I got in too early and I gave back profit and put me back red on the day.

My 4th setup was a bull flag, but on the 1 min chart, I knew the setup was too early and premature. It needed to move sideways longer and I jumped in carelessly to be stopped out a minute later. Then when the setup finally showed itself, I got in after taking an unnecessary loss.

So the 5th trade on it was a valid setup, it just didn't have the follow through I was looking for. I was 1/5 on this stock today. Everything was a small loss, but 2/5 setups should not have been taken.
