This was a snapback short. Not sure why I bailed on it but it was another bad entry using overnight data. The overnight 9ema is not working for me so I am tagging those "no patter" from now on and dropping overnight from my chart after I use it for levels and premarket gap evaluations.
Execution detail:
Date/time | Symbol | Side | Price | Position |
---|---|---|---|---|
2013-08-27 09:54:41 | KIRK | sell | $20.710 | short |
2013-08-27 10:14:17 | KIRK | buy | $20.670 | 0 |
Nominally a 9ema pullback with overnight data but the pullback was clearly not clean and I should pass. I am changing my trading plan this weekend to eliminate these.
