HK had been showing a lot of weakness at the open. So, I shorted the pop on the 3-minute. I was looking to scalp this trade, and leave some on for a 6 break, but clearly I did not do that.
I was not looking to size up this early in the trade. I wanted HK to hit 6.40, and reject that area. That was where I could add more shares, but HK never hit 6.40 and sold off.
It is good that I took profits for a gain, but I also need to hold the rest of my position for more gains. I was looking for a $6 break, and that is what happened. It angers me when I do not follow my own plan. I am working on this part of my game.
