One of those stocks that you watch

Open
- Look at that... missed the break on the 6TH retest of the 119 level -_- lol. It squeezed super quickly and it didnt look like a normal break, turns out literally in that minute an article came out about new custom AMD chips in microsoft computers... clearly the market reacted. I missed the move so I didnt chase BUT it came right back down to 119 and that looked VERY strong for a rejection, first entry on the break back into the 119 range for a possible break down to the lows on everyone else in the market seeing that movement too. Didnt go that way unfortunately, The price action came right back up and I held it stubbornly waiting for the retest to 119 until I accepted the small loss. It ended up closing with such a WEIRD pattern on the 5 minute chart, a disgusting super large wicked doji.
Reflection
- 3 indicators? Yes, first entry called for, major reversal.
- Scaling? No, was being cautious on the volatility, waiting for the confirmation for the downside sustain.
- Partials? No.
- Risk management? My out should have been on the retraction of 50% of the move, I let it get to like 60%. My stubbornness got in the way, my emotions wavered here.
- What went right/wrong? Trade idea was valid. Stop loss was not solid.
- Successful trade? Technicals yes up until it retracted about 60%, I was shocked with the huge rejected but then equally strong retraction. My emotions wavered here and I took a small loss but It could have been smaller if I had taken my exit at 119.5 on the break of the first retraction candle.
