- Watching AMD for the HOD break. took first entry on it breaking, the price action did not break up the minute after, I waited for the possibility of the price holding around that level and then opening a new 5 minute candle at the HOD or above it. The trade rejected and came down to approach the bottom of the range. Wonky price action, got out.
Reflection
- 3 indicators? Yes, first entry called for. The HOD had been tested twice before my entry.
- Scaling? NO. no confirmation.
- Partials? No, rejected.
- Risk management? Out on the rejection on it closing as a doji.
- What went right/wrong? Trade idea valid, proper entry and risk management. Minor loss. Shook it off.
- Successful trade? Yes, emotions in check. Traded the technicals.
