One of those stocks that you watch

Open
- Watching the opening on NVDA. Earnings yesterday after the close and it blew it out of the water like expected. I was really nervous to trade NVDA bc im not used to the spreads and the ATR so I worked out the appropriate amount of position sizes prior to opening. Put on some hype music, got the nerves out before the market open. Watching the price action, NVDA starting sideways until it gave way to the upside break of the sideways consolidation it was giving and above VWAP. Took the entry on the 499 break after a failed downside move on the 1 minute chart. Second entry on the break of HOD, and third entry on the new 5 minute candle and higher HOD break. Let the price action run, partial at the high of premarket, holding shares for the possible break higher, it didnt, came down and I got out before the break even since it had retracted so much of the move. Nice trade and good risk management here.
Reflection
- 3 indicators? Yes, first entry called for.
- Scaling? Yes, additional entries on the higher level breaks, candles closing and explosive volume.
- Partials? Yes, at the premarket high and the rest on the retraction to the downside.
- Risk management? Great. Couldnt have gone better honestly, appropriate entries, max risk determined at the bottom of the range. (496). Partials at the high of the run and rest at break even.
- What went right/wrong? Trade idea was valid, trade execution was valid too.
- Successful trade? Yes, emotions in check and traded the technicals appropriately.
