I rarely trade TVIX but I like to trade it with the SPY.

I wish I could upload a chart of the SPY next to this so I could save it here. (update: I just realized I can upload a jpeg in the notes here)

I got the signal at opening to go short. I got in here on 3rd candle, got out on 4th candle.

That was a direct effect of the 4th SPY candle, it went green, TVIX was effected similarly in that it stopped the drop, but it didn't shoot up as far as the SPY's green candle did.
